Family, friends mourn loss of 'beautiful angel'

Her death was sudden and friends who knew her well have expressed their sympathy saying the news has hit hard.

ʻEmeline Ngalu of Maʻufanga has been identified on social media as the young woman who died of drowning at Veitongo beach yesterday Saturday 11.

A search mission was still underway for a second victim who has been identified on Facebook as Mr. Kina Jag Jagroop.

It is understood Miss Ngalu was at the beach with friends for a farewell picnic.

Police confirmed her death to Kaniva News but declined to give further details and her indentity.

Family and friends of Miss Ngalu are reeling over the death of a “beautiful angel”.

They described her as a woman who was known for her vibrant smile and happiness.

Her close friends were devastated by her death.

“Who knew…just crying and love Titi (the deceased’s mother) and the children,” wrote Sophia Siale Kaiser in Tongan.

Another friend said she was shattered by the news.

“Line is known for her happiness and vibrant smile. RIP”.

“She left us too soon. Line is beautiful, smiley and full of happiness,” another wrote in Tongan on Facebook.
