Man hospitalised after Longolongo machete attack

A man was hospitalized after he engaged with party-goers in an argument in Longolongo recently.

The victim received injuries to his head and hands.

A witness, who did not want to be named, said one man attacked the victim with a machete during the altercation.

It was reported that the men were rugby players from the village and the incident happened after they returned from a nightclub.

They continued partying at one of the players home when the altercation happened.

He was then taken to hospital where he received medical assistance, a local newspaper report.

The identities of those involved and the details of the incident were not immediately available.
