Kingdom lager to be brewed in Tonga

The taste of a new beer , Kingdom Lager , has been enjoyed by many last week in Tonga after it was launched at the Tali’eva Bar in Nuku’alofa.

The beer has been brewed in Fiji and cans were available in Tongatapu Island markets.

It is expected to start brewing in Tonga by a local brewery in March.

Kingdom Lager is a product owned by Siaosi Koloamatangi of EKT Investment Ltd.

In 1987 the late King of Tonga started the first largest ever brewery to be established in the Kingdom and it brewed the Ikale and Royal Beers but no longer produced and the company wound up few years ago.

Sometimes when a business is growing, it needs a little help.
